Read-Only Google Access
Understand how Advantage uses Google access for account visibility.
Advantage uses Google account access to read Local Services Ads account data and build dashboard insights. Optional customer-enabled workflows are described separately so you can decide which actions are appropriate for your account.
What read-only means
Read-only access is used for account discovery, reporting, dashboard metrics, lead review, and account health checks. It is intended to let Advantage analyze performance without changing campaign settings.
Data visibility and optional actions
| Capability | What Advantage does | Customer control |
|---|---|---|
| Dashboard reporting | Reads eligible LSA account data to display metrics, leads, visibility and account health. | Available after connection and activation. |
| AI Call Analysis | Analyzes eligible call context when the feature is enabled. | Enabled and managed inside the product. |
| AI Replies | Can send an approved message reply to eligible message leads when enabled. | The business controls whether the feature is enabled and the approved template. |
| Auto Lead Grader | Analyzes settled leads; modes other than Analyze Only can submit Google feedback subject to settings and guardrails. | The business selects the mode and feedback configuration. |
Before connecting
- Use a Google account with admin access to the LSA account, or to the Google Ads Manager account that contains it.
- Review the permissions shown by Google during OAuth.
- Use an account that has visibility into every LSA account you want to track.
Manager account access
If your business or agency manages Local Services Ads through a Google Ads Manager account, use a Google login with admin access to that Manager account. Advantage can use that access to find eligible Local Services Ads accounts during setup.
After signing in, see Connect Google Ads for setup steps.
After connection
Advantage can show eligible Local Services Ads accounts and help you decide which ones to activate.
Paid customers can review AI Replies and Auto Lead Grader before enabling optional workflows.
